We’re enjoying again a fantastic lunch at Lampart’s. in Hägendorf. Mr. Lampart is such a great cook. The 24 hours in the oven veal shank served in two courses is for sure one of the best main dishes ever!

Susanna just prepared the most amazing dish. I can not imagine a better way to finish this 2011.
Best pizza ever! Yes Devin, even better then the beef-arugula-mascarpone one in July 2009!

Our super delicious dinner: duck liver with caramelized brioche sticks, tamarillo and fig chutney

Last year there was this article in the Nonchalant Mom blog about the best restaurants to go with kids in NYC. One of them was Moomah and this one is even rather close for Columbus Park (where our hotel is). so we went there this morning and had a really great time. The location is very charming and creative, the food is very tasty and healthy and Keagan really enjoyed the DIY crafts projects while Kilian could roam around freely and meet other toddlers.
Carrie told Susanna about the tuna casserole her family used to prepare which contains some really fascinating ingredients like potato chips, canned soup and pasta. So Susanna insisted for Carrie to prepare the dish.

Ebbesen’s cooked this really amazing mexican dinner for us. Keagan’s comment “Carrie, this is the best fajita ever!”

Note to myself: whole wheat pizza with goat cheese, dried figs, broccoli, basil pesto and garlic roasted cherry tomatoes is very delicious!
