Today the boys were at my mother’s place. They had a 3 wise kings cake for afternoon tea and there is this tradition that in one of the cake pieces there is a little king figurine and the person who get’s this piece is the king/queen for the day.
My mother had the special piece but to make Keagan happy she suggested that he could be the husband of the queen. Keagan agreed to the wedding and after this his first act as the king was to revoke the queen title of my mother and to become the sole ruler of the appartment. Brilliant move!

I just found this picture when picking up. Keagan had drawn this a few months ago when Susanna was sick. It’s a self-portrait of Keagan offering Mama a loving hug and the writing should say” Get well Mama”.

The best Christmas present we could give to Keagan was spending the whole Dezember 24th in Aqua Basilea. He really enjoyed going down all the slides and also had lots of fun jumping into the pool.

Bike Tour with Keagan

I’m really amazed how fit Keagan is on the bike. We went on a 14km bike tour along the Aare today and even on the last 200m Keagan challenged me to do a race.

This two boys actually share a 300×200 cm bed together. So we were rather surprised to find them sleeping bum against bum.

Empire State Building

As a special treat to Keagan we let him choose between a helicopter flight over Manhattan or the evalator ride to the top of the Empire State Building. He choose the lather and so I went with him and he did not only enjoy the view very much but was also completely in love with the colorful and shiny art deco interior of the building.
